38 weeks

Nursery furniture is purchased, room is complete, and we are just waiting....and waiting...and waiting. I had one last girls night- 17 girls from the college group came over for a Pajamarama sleepover and the 15 guys from the college group went camping with Doug for a Manimal Beast of a Man Camping trip. I think we're ready to relax and welcome this new one soon!

7 Month Mark

He's pretty squished in there. If you look closely you can see his feet poking out at the side. Not really, but he does have a favorite spot to kick and punch on my left side.

Putting together the Nursery & furniture

We put together the crib and dresser- and it was actually pretty easy! yeay! Furniture!

What's been going on the last couple months?

Enjoyed a fun day with my friends for a baby shower in Franklin, TN.

Spending time with my mom and grandmother.

Eating with Dad at Waffle House. Who ate more?

Kentucky Derby MiniMarathon

For those of you who didn't believe me when I told you, I got to run
with my fellow teacher, Jenny, the minimarathon here in Louisville.
It came a perfect timing too, becuase I was only 4 months pregnant
so I was feeling really good at that time! (Of course, I did map out all of the restrooms along the course!)
They say giving birth is like running a marathon. Okay, I can do this.

Time Flies

I know that I'm still technically a young adult and that I should be computer saavy, but I'll be honest- I haven't posted anything on this website becuase I forgot the address and how to log in, and then I've been sitting here for over an hour trying to figure out how to add a post! (or even what a post IS for that matter!)

okay: so here's an update on the baby situation. We are three weeks and counting until our due date (October 8th) and I'm still feeling pretty good (praise the Lord!)

I played a round of golf on Thursday, and tomorrow will be my hopefully final day of shopping at Babies R Us for a while.

Baby Adams is doing equally as well, and equally as active. Doctor says he's weighing in at over 6lbs. so far.

What we did in paradise

Our trip to Hawaii consisted of: going to a Reggae on the Rocks concert, Snorkeling in Hanuama Bay, renting a red convertible and driving to the North Shore, kayaking with sea turtles, touring the Dole Pineapple plantation, hiking Diamond Head, eating Cheesecake Factory dessert in bed, swimming on Waikiki beach, and relaxing!

Babymoon to Hawaii

Doug and I headed out on May 26th for Honolulu, Hawaii to enjoy our last vacation just the two of us. Baby Adams was resting comfortably inside, still hiding its gender until we returned from our trip to discover that we're having a boy!
The trip was everything we hoped for!
